My Rodan and Mothra set finally arrived after being delayed for a few weeks. After spending a few days going over them, I've had time to really assess them. They're both decent, but there are some issues. Let's dig in! As far as sculpt, Rodan fairs better than Mothra. Everything from the wings, face, torso and legs on Rodan are well done and nicely capture his condor-like look from the film. The face, legs and body of Mothra is sculpted in a very simple, dull manner, lacking any real detail or pattern. Part of it I think is that her body is so small it doesn't leave much room for details. Another thing that was pointed out to me by someone on social media is that Monsterarts may have based their Mothra on early concept artwork as opposed to her actual look in the film. S.H. Figuarts released Mr. Satan from Dragon Ball series earlier this year as Web exclusive. It's a pretty cool character with nice details and a good amount of accessories.  The articulation isn't the greatest, though the joints are relatively easy to move. His hands are also very easy to swap out, probably the easiest I've experienced with a Figuarts. He comes dressed in purplish robe, white pants, black and white shoes and his big affro. There are lines on his chest, arms and hands to represent his hairyness.  He comes with 4 different face plates (mouth closed, mouth open, mouth open with raised eyebrow, clenched teeth with widened eyes. 4 pairs of hands (fists, grabbing, peace sign and 2 different pointing), 3 different waist belts, a cape and his little dog Bee. I had never heard of this company up until 3 weeks ago when I stumbled onto a YouTube video that reviewed some of the figures. I found this guy on Amazon so I ordered myself one.  This little Xenomorph is cute. He's a light blue color with highlights throughout the body. He comes with an Alien egg. These figures come in blind boxes. You can either get an Alien or one of the human characters from the Aliens film, such as Ripley.  I specifically wanted one of the Xenomorph aliens so that's what I purchased. He's articulated in the neck, shoulders, upper torso, thighs, knees, ankles, and a hinged jaw that opens with a little inner mouth that sticks out. His tail is also bendable so you can pose it a little. The joints are pretty decent, the thighs and knees have the widest range. The hinged jaw was working fine until it broke after like 10 minutes.
