 This is just a random post discussing various things. The first being, that the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman line has done it again. Back in January of 2022, I wrote a post where I listed my Ultraman kaiju figure wishlist. Last year, they delivered with the release of Eleking. And now, they’re doing another one of those kaiju from my list. The goofy monster Birdon from Ultraman Taro. He’s gone up for preorder not too long ago (and yes, I snagged one ASAP), with a release date of February 2026. He was teased back at the Tamashii Nations event several months ago. I had hoped he’d drop by the end of this year. But at least he’s finally getting released, and based on the promo photos, he looks great. He will come with his flame breath, a stand for the effect, and what appears to be a flame effect for the top of Zoffy’s head (for the scene from Taro where he torches Zoffy before killing him). Honeymoon of Horror (1964) / Brad Steiger’s Mysteries of Time & Space (1982)

 I came across this lesser known 1960's thriller about a woman who marries an artist, and soon begins to grow suspicious of the company he keeps. Blonde and beautiful Lilli marries sculptor Emile. Upon arriving home from their nuptials, they find that his house is filled with all his kooky, weird friends, who throw him a big party. Among them are Emile's creepy brother Max, who was recently released from a mental asylum, and Helene, an old flame of Emile's who continues to flirt with him. Then there's Emile's weird housekeeper Hajmir, who gives Lilli the creeps. After a series of strange events, including mysterious phone calls in the middle of the night, as well as a private investigator looking into the disappearance of a woman who hung out with Emile's gang of misfits, Lilli begins to suspect that someone wants her dead.
