SHF Announces upcoming WW84 figure

Tamasshii Nations have dropped photos for their upcoming WW84 figure. She looks beautiful. The improved face sculpt really does make a difference. Their last Wonder Woman figure looked like a caveman imo. So I skipped it and got the Mafex Justice League version. This one looks more like Gal Gadot  (not 100% accurate, but close enough). I love the brighter blue and red of her suit. It definitely pops like her brighter colored outfit in the film (at least from the trailers and promo pics, since it hasn't been released yet). I think Figuarts have done a great job with this Wonder Woman. Hopefully the final product is as good. I'm hopeful as their last few Marvel female releases have had outstanding face sculpts and looked just as good as the promo shots (Endgame Black Widow & Scarlet Witch). Of course, there will be fan boys that won't be happy. Over on Reddit, someone posted a photo and a few fools got their panties in a twist, arguing over it. It wa...

Marvel Legends BAF Sauron

After watching a few reviews of this guy, I decided to bite the bullet and get him. I purchased him completed from an Ebay seller, which was actually cheaper than to have purchased all 6 figures in the series and build the figure myself. So let's dive into this Pteronodon / Pterodactyl man. The first thing I noted is how big this figure is. He's about the same height as my NECA human figures, and with his wide wing span, he's quite a handful. He looks really great. His paint and sculpt are very well done, from the highlights on his wings, chest and beak, to the patterns of his reptilian skin, to the loincloth on his waist (which is removable). Everything about his design is fantastic. The articulation is quite impressive. His mouth opens very wide, his neck can look up, to the sides and forward a bit, his shoulders are on a ball joint with a hinge, there's an extra hinge in the wing that allows it to fold inward, his claws ar...

Marvel Legends Lady Deadpool

I picked up this Marvel Legends Lady Deadpool off Amazon. It was pretty cheap ($11), so I figured, why not? Plus, she looks pretty cool, and who doesn't want a female version of Deadpool? This gal is part of the BAF Sauron wave. She comes with 2 katanas, an extra Headpool head, and the leg to build the Sauron figure. No guns or extra hands. Lady Deadpool (also known as Lady-D), is Wanda Wilson, from the alternate reality Earth-3010 in the comics. The Headpool head is from another universe where all the Marvel heroes were transformed into zombies, thus, his undead appearance. The figure sports a very long ponytail, and, other than being a different gender, is just another version of Deadpool. I think she's pretty cool. The Headpool head can be put on the bodies of other Marvel Legends Deadpool figures, as well as Lady-D herself. It slightly fits onto my Mafex Deadpool, though it looks rather small. Still, it's a cute accessory, a...
