Jazwares Fortnite Wild Card

I finally got me a Jazwares Wild Card. I had gone looking for him at Gamestop but they didn’t have it. I found it on Amazon and got it delivered within a few days. He’s a very simple looking but cool character from Fortnite. Jazwares Fortnite figures have so far been really cool. They sport great articulation, nicely detailed sculpts, a good amount of accessories and are affordable (in the $20 range). Wild Card comes decked out in a white jacket, shirt, slacks, black tie, black gloves and black shoes. He come with 4 alternate face plates, which look like hockey masks but each one is painted with a different card symbol (spade, heart, diamond, club). Other accessories include a gun called a Hand Cannon, a rocket launcher, a crowbar and a cuff case (a silver suitcase with handcuffs attached to it; it serves as his back bling that can peg into his back). All these accessories are nicely detailed and painted. He sports the usual articulation as

Mafex Iron Spider Spider-Man

Mafex Iron Spider Spider-Man is my latest purchase and 1st Spider-Man figure. I had originally wanted the Figuarts version, but when this was announced, it looked nicer, so I held out for this instead. The details are really nice and accurately capture the look of the suit in the film, from the darker blue, to the metallic shine. The articulation on this figure is great! The head and neck has great range, double jointed knees and elbows, butterfly joints on the shoulders, great range on the thighs, nice ab crunch, good ankle pivots. You can get this guy in many fun spidey poses. One fun feature is that he comes with an extra pair of feet that have magnets on them, as well as an extra pair of magnetic hands. This adds more posability options. It's a feature that I've definitely been enjoying. He comes with 6 pairs of hands in total  (closed fist, holding fist, relaxed, open, magnetic and web shooting). An extra pair

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

I haven’t been to the movies in a while. The last film I saw in a theatre was Godzilla King of the Monsters, which I was so disappointed in, so I haven’t bothered to go see anything else since. I was planning on catching Spiderman Far From Home but haven’t gotten around to it yet. Maybe I’ll catch that next. As for other films, only Quentin Tarantino’s latest appealed to me enough to get to a movie theatre and catch it. I’m glad I did. All the positive reviews it’s been given are dead on. This film is great! Tarantino rarely disappoints; then again, he’s only done 9 feature films since the early 90’s, so he’s clearly a filmmaker who takes his time and makes what he wants to make. The story takes place in Los Angeles 1969. It follows Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) as a former television superstar and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Dalton is struggling with the reality that he’s slowly becoming a has-been, relegated to bit parts as bad guys on TV shows, and B
