Jazwares Abstrakt from Fortnite

My latest buy from the Jazwares Fortnite line is Abstrakt. He wears a sleeveless hoodie, hat, and comes with his tagging/painting epuipment and weapons.  The first thing to note is that his arm snapped off when I was moving it at the joint. It seemed to be unusually tight, so the peg snapped right off. I was not amused but also happy it's not a pricier Figuarts or Mafex. I ended up gluing his arm back on. He can move it now, he just doesn't have the upper arm swivel ability.  Abstrakt is equipped with the Renegade Roller harvesting tool, Tag Bag back bling, Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle, Suppressed Pistol, face mask and a yellow Balloon. He also has 3 different face plates, one with surprised expression and the other 2 looking serious. Those other two are very similar. They should've gone with maybe a smiling or angry face as the 3rd. I also noticed that the face plates are a slightly darker shade than his neck. This is most noticeable in the light

NECA Godzilla 1964

NECA's latest Godzilla figure is out, their version of the 1964 suit from Mothra vs. Godzilla aka Godzilla vs. The Thing. This is one of my favorite Goji suits, so I was looking forward to getting a new articulated version of it. It comes in one of the newer boxes that have movie poster artwork on the cover. The only accessory is an atomic breath beam. It looks similar to the one that was released with their Godzilla 62, though this one is a different mold. It fits in the mouth ok, though you need to really push it in to get it to stay. The details and paint are good. It's mostly a grey with highlights on the spikes, finger and toenails. The paint in the mouth is decent, though the tongue is not painted at the back. I assume this is to keep the atomic breath piece from scraping off the paint when put in the mouth. The eyes are painted nicely, with a lighter shade on his brows. I noticed dark lines around the eye socket that will make it

New Freddie Mercury figure coming soon....

Tamashii Nations has announced a new Freddie Mercury action figure, based on his performance at Live Aid, with the blue jeans, white tank top and leather band on his arm. Other than the clothes, it looks to be pretty much the same figure, with the same 3 heads, hands and microphone. It still looks pretty cool. I guess the success of Bohemian Rhapsody made this possible, as the first figure was re-released, and now we're getting another to represent his iconic Live Aid concert appearance.  It will be released in March of next year. I already pre-ordered one. You can never have too many articulated Freddie Mercury action figures.
