RICSAN Custom Toys Dream Ogre (Gabara)

The next figure I received from RICSAN Custom Toys is the Dream Ogre, aka Gabara from the 1969 film All Monsters Attack (Godzilla’s Revenge in the US). He had posted on his Instagram that he had some extra figures left, this being one of them, so I messaged him and purchased one. He arrived last week. Gabara was the monster that was bullying Minilla (aka Minya), the son of Godzilla. With the encouragement of a little boy, Minilla was able to fight back against the goofy beast. He resembles an ogre with a long neck, horns on his head, and body covered in scales that resemble warts. Gabara had an equally goofy roar that matched his silly look. DMHTOY Earth Garon

After purchasing the cute little Gazort and Ultraman Tiga from the DMHTOY Bloks line on eBay some weeks ago, I was browsing to see what other figures were available. He resembles a mechanical dinosaur/dog, with a blue and orange color scheme. This little figure is cast in a darker blue than my S.H. Figuarts Earth Garon. He stands about 4 inches tall, and his only accessory is a grey base that he can be mounted on. He came in a series that includes Ultraman Noa, Ultraman Nexus, Blazar and Zero. Like the other figures in the line, he comes in various pieces that you assemble. Once put together, his articulation includes a hinged jaw, ball joint arms, hinged elbows, thighs and knees. His jaw, arms and legs are the only parts that move, so his articulation is limited, in that you can’t turn his neck, head or torso. At the most, you’ll be able to lif...
