My latest box day figure is D.Va from Figma, based on the character from Overwatch. It's a very cool figure with lots of accessories and great joints.
She comes with 2 different heads, one wearing a hat and one without hat and headphones, 3 separate face plates (regular, winking and blowing bubble), a stand, a small drink can with 2 sets of stickers you can attack to the can, a gun, a gum bubble that goes into the mouth of one of face plates, 5 pairs of hands, plus one holding a phone and other making a fingers crossed peace sign, a rack to put the hands on, an extra attachment for the stand, an extra peg joint, and, like all Figma figures, a clear plastic bag where you can store the accessories .
The articulation is where this figure really excels. The shoulders, upper torso and thighs have quite a range, making for some really great poses. The elbows and knees aren't really double jointed, but they're still quite impressive. You can get her to do all sorts of wild, yoga style poses.
She's in scale with most standard Figma figures and Figuarts, though she is a bit on the shorter side. Still, she fits in well with my other characters.
D.Va is one of those figures that the more you play around with and pose, the more fun you'll have as you'll be pleasantly surprised by all that she can do. This is only my 2nd Figma. The first I got was Goro Inogashira, and while that one is cool, his joints aren't as great (especially his legs). D.Va is easy to pose and can stand well on her own without the stand.
Figma D. Va is a surprisingly solid figure that I'm glad I picked up. There's nothing better than getting a figure and having it turn out better than you anticipated. I've gotten figures that I was really looking forward to, only to be let down by standard or substandard articulation. D.Va, I'm happy to report, is not one of those.
There's not much else to say other than what I already stated. If you're a fan of Overwatch or Figma, I recommend this figure!
