My latest Figuarts is Ultraman Geed Magnificent. He's one of several forms Geed took during the show. This one stands out due to the horns on his head and spiked shoulders.
He comes with 4 pairs of hands (fist, chopping/flat, grabbing, and holding). He comes with his weapon, the Geed Claw, and an additional hand for the claw to be held by the Geed Primitive figure.
The details and paint apps are great, the quality you expect from the Figuarts line. Geed Magnificent is red and blue, with a little black and silver. His horns are nicely sculpted, and the details on the Geed Claw are also impressive for being a small instrument.
The articulation is pretty decent. The shoulders sport butterfly joints that allow them to bend forward quite far. This, along with the upper arm and elbow swivel, give him a good range of movement, despite the elbows not being double jointed. The shoulder pads are on small pegs and can move up and out a bit. When I took it out of the package and moved it around, the right shoulder pad on mine did pop off, but I was able to pop it back in and it stayed. The knees are double jointed, and the ankle swivel have a good range.
The Geed Claw also has articulation. The claw fingers can open and close, and the end section can swivel all the way around at the handle. This makes his accessory more expressive for poses.
Geed Magnificent is a very good figure. Tamashii Nations seem to have looked into possible limitations in his design and found good ways to work around them (e.g. the lack of double jointed elbows). This guy is lacking the issues (that tedious cape) that dropped Royal Megamaster down a few notches.
S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Magnificent turned out to be a winner from the Figuarts line.
