Two more versions of Ultraman Zero have been released in a special box set. We now have his Miracle Luna and Strong Corona forms. One is mostly blue, while the other is red, silver & gold. Strong Corona Zero stands out more to me; I think it's due to the red and gold, which I find more pleasing to the eye.
Both of these are basically the same figure as Tamashii's standard Zero, only with different colors and the new accessory being the Ultra Zero Lance, both small and sword form. Both have the same amount of hands, extra eye sluggers, slugger-less alternate head, extra color timer and the same articulation as the standard release.
I had initially felt slightly let down by Zero's articulation as it wasn't as expressive as Ultraman X's, but it grew on me and I realized that it was a solid release with lots to offer. The same goes for these two, as they are, like I said, the same figure. Since this is a special set, it is pricier, but you get two figures with many different hands and decent extras.
Another fun thing about being the same figure is that their hands and heads can be inter-changeable. And since I own the regular Zero release, I can interchange with those accessories as well. It's like having a build-your-own combo pack.
I can now say that any release of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Zero (with the exception of Zero Beyond) is worthy, with lots to offer. They are one of Tamashii Nations' best Ultraman releases. I now have 4 versions of Zero to build a small army, even though each is technically a different upgrade of the same tokusatsu hero. But it's cool to have his different forms, especially as Zero is one of the more popular of the new generation Ultras. If you're a fan, these two versions of the son of Seven are worth it. If you're interested in getting this set, I'd get it ASAP before the price goes way up.
