The 2nd release of Bulma from S.H. Figuarts is her look in the classic pink outfit from the first episode of Dragon Ball. She has a longer, braided pony tail, blue tennis shoes, a red bow and gun holster with gun. I own and like the previous release, so I picked this one up as well. She comes with 3 pairs of hands (fists, open, pointing), plus 3 extra right hands, holding a capsule, trigger finger, and for holding the dragon Ball locator. She also has a gun, the locator, a dragon ball, an empty holster and one with gun in it, both of which can attach to her belt via a small peg. And finally, 3 interchangeable face plates (regular, open mouth smile and scared). Her articulation points are the neck, the ponytail, the shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper torso, waist, thighs, knees and ankles that pivot and rock side to side. Her skirt is a soft plastic and has a cut so you kick her legs forward and out, though it does hinder it somewhat. Like ...

In a previous post I had stated that Ultraman Taro was the final Figuarts Ultraman release of 2019. My bad! It's actually his son, Ultraman Taiga. For some reason I was thinking that he was due in January. Well he's here now, to bid adieu to the year. Taiga comes with 5 pairs of hands (fists, grasping, open and 2 flat, karate chop pairs). He also comes with an alternate color timer. That's about it. No beam effects or weapons. Still, he's a nice figure, sporting nice paint and good articulation. His Taiga Spark that he wears on his hand & wrist is removable. Each right hand is equipped with a peg that the Spark can attach to via a small hole in the back. I had wondered how they were going to do this with the swappable hands, since it covers his wrist to the top of hand. They found a good solution for that challenge. His articulation points are neck & head, shoulders with a slight butterfly joint,  double jointed elbow...

 As we end 2019, it is that time of the year for top lists. I was initially going to list my top 10 favorite figures of 2019, but as I began the task of preparing that list, it became quite hard. I purchased a lot of figures this year, and there were MANY great ones. So I increased it to 15. So here is my list of top 15 favorite figures of 2019. NUMBER 15: S.H. FIGUARTS ANIME ULTRAMAN SUIT VER. 7. Out of the 2 releases that Tamashii put out from the Netflix Ultraman anime, this was the one that was worth getting. Nice articulation, paint, details and cool accessories made him a winner. NUMBER 14: S.H. FIGUARTS ENDGAME BLACK WIDOW. Miss Natasha Romanov made my top 10 list last year with her Infinity War version, and here she made the cut again with her Endgame look. Black Widow is a character I grew to love, and her death in the film hit me hard. Tamashii once again did a fantastic job with her likeness in figure form.  NUMBER 13: S.H. FIGUARTS SUPER BUU....
