My latest Figuarts Ultraman is Ginga. This figure turned out surprisingly well, with great articulation and decent accessories.
He comes with a red color timer, 4 pairs of hands (fists, holding, flat and grasping), an extra hand with the cross shoot beam, and the Ginga spark lance, a translucent blue weapon. Both the beam and lance are nicely detailed.
Ultraman Ginga is the traditional red and silver, but with light blue crystals throughout his body, that make him stand out.
The articulation is very good. Double jointed knees and elbows, slight butterfly joints on the shoulders, upper arm and thigh cuts, great range on the upper waist, legs and ankles, and shoulder pads that can shift downward and back up allow more room for the shoulder movement all contribute to a figure that can be put into very expressive poses.
He stands the same size as other Figuarts Ultras. I own the older Ultra Act Ginga, which is a taller line. The Figuarts Ginga is nicer, definitely an improvement over that release.
S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ginga is a really great release. When it was initially announced, I wasn't sure if I wanted to preorder it, as I already owned the Ultra Act version, but I'm happy that I did get it, as it is really nice. He is one of Figuarts' better Ultra releases. I recommend getting him.
